New couch !

I found a couch for 75 $.
It's pretty cool. I haven't had a couch in a while since I put my last one on the curb. I'm pretty cheap and picky. I really wanted one from Urban Outfitters or Thrive, but... as I said before I am cheap, so finding a second hand one was better for us. Phil really likes playing guitar on it, so I'm pretty glad that he's using it :)

Cilia's home

This week we spent part of our day (on monday) with Cilia and her family. She has a beautiful house that her man built with old and new wood.
She loves to garden, but she has trouble finding the time working in it since she has 3 young kids.
We talked about mommy life and we ate some yummy lunch while the kids played outside.

My sister has the cutest apartment and I really wanted to take some pictures. I'm not really satisfied of the quality of the pictures that I took, but it gives you the feel of the place.

Painting outside

You guys already know that painting can get pretty messy with young kids, right?
Well, I decided too bring our paint outside ! I waited till my two year old went down for a nap and got all the stuff ready to get creative... They painted rocks, egg cartons, paper and did some "stencil" with paper towel. I think we will make a little caterpillar with the egg carton when it will dry. It gets pretty messy, but they just love it :)

Birthday pictures !

I just wanted to share some pictures of my daughters birthday party.
It was very noisy, but we kept it very simple.
We let the kids run around and we did a couple of games ! I think they had fun, but it was a cold day, so we were mostly inside. My friend did some colorful make-ups on some of the kids. I cooked a vegetarian "pâté chinois" (it's a Quebec meal) my friend made a nice salad and I made a vanilla cake with straberry icing.

House love

I decided to take pictures of houses that I love and make a little series, just because it's fun and I love visiting houses. I will try to visit a new house every now and then and post pictures that inspire me !

I went to visit my friend Anne yesterday and her little house is SO cute . We had a nice lunch and went for a walk outside with her dogs. Oh and we did a little "wall yoga". Saule (my 3 1/2 year old daughter) was really good. Here are some pictures of our day... Enjoy xx
