We're so glad that everything is ok with baby # 4. Having another boy is scary, (just because my boys fight a lot) but they're really happy about having a brother. Saule really wanted a baby girl, but You Know I can't change anything about that, hehe. So we're just getting ready for this child, buying second hand stuff, clearing out toys and enjoying spring. Xx

It's been really nice outside and we're really enjoying it. We took out our bikes, belly boots and spring coats! Miko started biking and he loves it. He's so cute.

Spring is here now. Snow is melting and warm weather is here! I've been pretty busy pining things on pinterest, watching movies, sprint cleaning and getting ready to paint my whole house (inside). Spring really kicks butt ! Ok, I'm pretty lazy, but hey, I'm pregnant ! ;)

My kids are very anxious to have a new brother or sister. I got two dolls that they take care of when they like. Before going to bed tonight, Miko and Saule brought there dolls to sleep with them. I just had to capture it. :)
We still have a lot of snow over here. Looking forward to warm weather, skirts, sandales and NO mits or snowpants, You know? With three kids to get dressed it sometimes gets a little bit tiring. But hey, that's life I guess when you live in Quebec! Spring will come... One day <3

My little man Miko turned three. He's now out of diapers during the day. He still shits in his pants, but whatever! Haha! He's not a baby anymore : he talks a lot, makes us laugh and is sometimes a little brat... But hey, he's so cute and we love him so much <3 He's growing so fast and I'm sure he's going to be a great big brother ! Happy birthday again Miko xx

Yet again we're sick. Fever and coughing. Hopefully we will be in shape soon. Looking forward to warm days, but we're still getting snow. We really need some sun!
Oh and I'm turning 30 saturday. Oh gosh! Kind of scary, but I guess that's life!

I'm joining in with the 52 project.

Miko : playing the ukulele.
Saule : wasn't feeling well this week, but is doing  better today.
Loïk : his sore stomach and  head ache are back :(

Winter isn't a good season for us. The kids and my husband have been getting pretty sick. Saule is at home and missing a lot of pre-school since she's not feeling well. I have been staying inside in my pyjama's all day. It's fun, but I'm looking forward to sliding and skating with my little one's. Hopefully things will pass and these germs will get out of the house in a couple days!

Having a fourth child

I announced yesterday on Facebook that I am pregnant.
It wasn't planned, but we're happy about it!
We know that it's not going to be easy, but we're making changes for 2014 and I'm sure we will manage (hopefully). I know that Phil has back problems and things weren't so easy for us because of that. He's slowly getting better with Physio. We're very positive about it and his back is getting stronger and stronger every day !

 It's crazy. I will have four kids at the young age of 30. Pretty rad!
It's scary and yet I'm so excited to get things ready for this child. The kids are really happy and the boys want a little brother and Saule obviously wants a little sister. We will see. I really want the sex of this baby to be a surprise till I give birth!
I really feel sick, witch really sucks. I'm always laying around the house with pillows and the kids are allowed to watch a lot of t.v. Hopefully it will pass !
I will take a picture every month (or so) of my belly. It's exciting to see how fast it grows.

Saule : not feeling so good this week.
Loik : getting off the bus after school with a really bad stomach and head ache

This week was pretty hard for us.
Saule has Scarlet Fever. She's doing better with antibiotics, hopefully ! But I'm still afraid that the other two will get it :( My husband is pretty sick as well. He has been in bed for almost a week not being able to do anything. I hope that everything will get in order so we can go skating with the kids :)

Saule's room.

This is my favorite room in the house.
My 4 1/2 year old is such a doll. She loves it when I decorate her room and really encourages me to rearrange things from time to time.
I usually find most of the stuff second hand, but sometimes I go crazy and buy stuff from Urban Outfitters, Ikea or Target.
Here's a little tour of her room :

I let her put stickers and her drawings on the wall. She's pretty happy that I let her do this.

I found this beautiful rug at Urban Outfitters. Love it.

We're not feeling all that well today, ( I'm sore all over and Saule hasn't been herself either for the past couple of days) So we're taking it slow at home.

HELLO!

I got my camera back. I'm so happy!
I haven't been posting anything because of that.
I didn't finish the other 52 project, but I will do this one for 2014.

Saule : not feeling all that well...  just chullin' on the sofa.
Loïk : just got up and is still pretty tired.
Miko : just lying on the table.

We have been spending a lot of time inside since it's pretty cold outside.
We also have been partying a lot and the kids have been going to bed pretty late. I am anxious to get back to routine. Miko is starting daycare and I'm starting a new part time job. So excited!

A mother's life + stripes and catching butterflies.

My life is mainly taking care of my kids full time and you know how they can be : they fight, they yell A LOT and my younger one seems too be very out of control at times. I know that we have some really good days and some kids aren't always fighting like mine, but as a mother I do raise my voice, I do put my kids in their room and I do "lose it" sometimes.
I am a stay-at-home mother, I'm not ready to work or study just yet, but I am very anxious that one of them will start school and the other one will start (part time) pre-school. I think that my kids are tired of being together all the time and they need a big break from each other.
We're planning a special 3 days without the kids soon and I really hope that my friends and family will be supportive about it. We need time as a couple for more than a couple of hours, you know ?
We will be needing babysitters, but we can't afford to pay someone for 3 days.

On another note, we went catching butter flies this morning. It wasn't any success, but Loik did like spying on them. Miko cried most of the time and Saule had some fun, but was getting bit by 
 mosquitoes. Loik and Saule are dressed in stripes. I think it's pretty cute. Oh and Saule looks likes she's dressed to go play tennis. Funny.

This weekend and monday

I haven't been in a very good mood for the past while, so this weekend we decided to go out randomly and it felt good. Sometimes you just have to leave the house without thinking about anything.
We found a small farm that sells asparagus and lamb. We were pretty happy about that...
After that, we decided to stop by too see some friends! 8 parents + 15 kids !!!! It was loud, but fun.  The kids played outside and watched a couple movies since it wasn't all that nice out.

On monday it was the last day of pre-school and we were invited to go visit a camping site with a small farm. The kids enjoyed it so much!!!! Ok, it wasn't easy. I was always searching for the kids because they were running around and Saule wasn't in a very good mood, but whatever, it's not always easy with kids I tell ya ! ;)
 Loik wont be going to pre-school anymore but he seems pretty cool with it, I think hes anxious to start school in september. Saule will go 2 half days a week ! Miko will stay with me and I will try to be more patient. Yep.
